You can rewire the box using terminals and soldering them to the flat side of the clips or you can solder the wires directly into the box a 40 watt soldering iron is just fine for this task. The car fuse box is near the battery most of the time. To wire a car stereo start by disconnecting your car battery to avoid electrocuting yourself.
The PMP requires an ignition wire from the new fuse box a ground and a constant power wire which i was planning on running directly from the battery.
Then match the colored wires of your radio and your car and twist the wires together. Open it and use your fuse removal tool to remove one fuse at a time. The installer will feed the armoured cable and fuse-saver wire through to the fusebox. Unplug the safe box by unclipping it.
